Summer Solstice – Honoring the light

On light versus dark:

Marty says to Rust: “When I look up at the star-studded sky, it appears to me that dark has a lot more territory than light.”

Rust replies: “You’re right about that, but you’re looking at the wrong sky thing”

Marty: “How’s that?”

Rust: “Well, once there was only dark. You ask me, the light’s winning.”

(paraphrased from the last words of True Detective).

Celebrate!

This is the start of summer and we celebrate the wonder of our connection to the Sun and Earth…the Divine Connection.

There is much to celebrate and honor:

The incredible bounty of Earth reflecting the sun’s power to provide abundance and nourishment, from tiny seeds.

The Sun–the source of life–nurturing and teaching it’s children.

Divine Connection:

This connection expands and brightens our life as it reminds us of the wonder that lies in  loving and honoring this relationship.

This complex connection reveals the powerful bond of alignment. and gives a glimpse of peak moments of growth, warmth and comfort.

We are inspired by the growth…manifested in the spiritual, physical, and love for fellow travelers.

The warmth of hot days signify the importance of balance between intensity and relaxation.

The fruit of growth requires patience to ripen and like green seeds, can’t be be rushed to fullness.

We feel the excitement of growth from seeds and the realization that we are part of the process that leads to enlightenment:
