Greeks Bearing Losses

Beware of Greeks bearing losses.

The current economic disaster playing out in Greece is pretty much beyond comprehension for me. However:

1. The Greek economy could collapse (depression) with implications beyond Greece (interdependence).

2. If the Greeks get a break, will other teetering countries follow suit? (Italy, Spain, et.al.)

3. Does the Eurozone make sense? Have a future? The UK is talking about an exit.

4. The Russian bear looms large as a potential player/spoiler in this strategic area (eastern Med.).

5. In any event, everything should hit the fan shortly and we’ll probably see a new structure (radical change or incremental?)

6. Has Europe ever been able to get along for the greater good on just selfish?
