A win can raise the spirits so much, especially when your once noble team is the dregs of baseball and has just broken a seven game losing streak.

They lost again. It was a one game winning streak. it strange, but many of us keep hoping that any day now, they’ll break out and go on a lightning streak that will redeem the season.

At this point, I think I could be happy with a decent second half…in which they moved out of the cellar and showed some strength on both sides of the plate. If they could finish over 500 with some excitement thrown in, that would be Okay.

But today it’s going the other way with more errors and poor strategy (game management).

Of course there are a few exciting players that offer hope…Holt, Bogaerts & Betts…but oh so few.
